Big Brother All-Stars

Power Rankings (Round 1)

The Big Brother vs Survivor showdown begins…

Inside Survivor’s Power Rankings are back for Big Brother All-Stars, and it’s a special reality-tv showdown edition.

That’s right, it’s Big Brother versus Survivor as BB21 favorite Ovi Kabir takes on Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers runner-up Chrissy Hofbeck. Who will come out on top? Which reality-show will get the bragging rights? Let’s find out!

RULES

Each week the two power rankers create separate rankings based on least likely to most likely to be evicted. If the person ranked in 1st place is eliminated in the next episode, the ranker earns 1 point. If the person ranked in 16th place is eliminated, the ranker receives 16 points, and so on. The person with the most points at the end of the season will be named the Big Brother All-Stars Power Rankings Champion.

As a bonus, if the player ranked in first wins the Power of Veto that week, the ranker will gain 2 extra points.

SPOILER DISCLAIMER: Chrissy is a TV only watcher, while Ovi is a feeds watcher, so expect some live feeds spoilers below. Let’s see which method works best, casual versus hardcore!

1
Cody
Obviously he’s HOH, so not going home Week 1. I expect Cody to play a macho game. He’ll want a woman to be evicted first. This means he’ll put TWO women on the block to ensure the guys have 7 votes and the women have just 6. In light of this, I’m putting all the men in the top eight slots this week, with all the women down below.
1
Cody
Right out of the gate Cody proves his quick feet and hands haven’t left him in the premiere of Big Brother All-Stars as he dominates both a table-ball and speed run competition to win the first HoH of the season. He’s not going anywhere this first week and while he’s made some vital connections with some boys across the cast, he’s made early enemies in a fearsome duo of Janelle and Kaysar.
2
Tyler
I see him and Cody hitting it off. Both 2nd place finishers, twenty-somethings, in strong relationships at home, and good looking guys. I doubt he’d be nominated by Cody.
2
Nicole F
Nicole’s politicking and social game are still apparent as she used it to already make key connections with both old-schooler players like Dani and new school players like Cody. She seems to have solidified a final 2 with Cody so we know she’s not going anywhere this week.
3
Kevin
I‘m channeling this one to the universe, Kevin is so fun to watch, so please please don’t evict him this week. We need more Kevin in the house this season!
3
Tyler
Tyler is doing what Tyler does best, and that is misting everyone around him into thinking he’s their number 2. From Cody to Christmas to David, each person thinks they are incredibly tight with him. Only issue is that Kaysar and Janelle might try to target him early on because they know his threat level is high. But otherwise I think Tyler will make a deep-run.
4
David
Even though he was first out of the house during BB21, that was due to a bad twist, not his strategic chops. I don’t think that David is going to be Frances-qwa’ed this season, but if he is, I’ll eat a rock.
4
Enzo
Enzo is finding his groundings better than some other old school players as it seems he came into this season with a solid game plan in mind. Looking to emulate his previous alliance in season 12, ‘the Brigade’, which got him to the final 3, Enzo is doing the same thing this season. Alongside Cody, Tyler, and David; Enzo is starting a strong alliance and I think he’s here to stay.
5
Enzo
He immediately stood out to me when he said “Legends laugh at All-Stars” during the premiere. I think his head is in the right place, and I don’t think he’ll be evicted this week.
5
Kaysar
Kaysar is debatably one of the smartest people on his cast as this is his third season, and he already sees what’s going on in the house. Unfortunately, his resume follows him as he seemed like an early target this week alongside Janelle. [Spoilers] However Kaysar was able to win safety this week through the Safety Suite Competition, guaranteeing him an extra week in the house alongside one ally.
6
Memphis
Not sure if Julie was starting a rivalry outside the house with the “Renegades vs Hitmen” question. But it’s possible that Cody might now want to assert himself as the “better” of the two and put Memphis on the block. So I’m pushing Memphis toward the bottom(ish) of the eight guys.
6
Janelle
Janelle has connections across this entire cast that can both help and hurt her, which we have already seen to happen. Due to her history with Kaysar and being one of the most known players on this cast, both her and Kaysar have been seen as early targets by Cody. Fortunately for them, Kaysar won the safety suite competition, guaranteeing safety for himself and one other person of choice of who we can assume is Janelle.
7
Kaysar
Kaysar hasn’t played in a number of years, which worries me a bit. Will we see an Old School slow demise like we did in Survivor: Winners at War? Hopefully not! In any case, I think Kaysar’s gender will save him this week, but I might keep my eye on him in future weeks.
7
Christmas
While Christmas doesn’t seem to have the same amount of prior connections that some other houseguests seem to have, her social game has made up for that. She has been talked about as a close ally to many of the boys in the house including Tyler, so it seems like she’s here to stay.
8
Ian
As the only guy winner in this group, nominating Ian would minimize the blood on Cody’s hands. Also, despite Ian claiming in his premiere video that he was going to “hibernate for weeks and turn it on later,” he turned it on the second he got in the house and won that first-round comp in a flash! Could raise some concerns, so Ian lands at the bottom of the eight guys.
8
Da'Vonne
A seasoned veteran from both Big Brother and The Challenge, Da’Vonne is no stranger when it comes to reality TV. While she has fallen short in previous seasons, Da’Vonne seems to have a different mindset this go around where she’s being smart with the conversations she chooses to have and which ones to keep to herself. I don’t think anyone is targeting her right now, and she has the potential to go far.
9
Bayleigh
I’m excited to see what Bayleigh can do this season while not in a showmance. I think she’ll fit in well with Cody – young, fit, beautiful, ambitious. I also think that she and Tyler will actively work to smooth over the blowups that happened between them during BB20. I just don’t see her on the block this week. She’s my top pick of the women this week.
9
Bayleigh
Bayleigh is coming hot off the tracks of the most recent season of The Challenge, but that doesn’t mean she’s tired by any means. Bayleigh has connections on both the Old School and New School side and seems to be in a good position right now. Let’s see how that goes.
10
Nicole A
Young, single, joyful, fun, and self-aware, Nicole’s already shown that she gets along well with lots of different people. Cody will look like a heartless monster if he puts up Nicole A for the very first vote.
10
Dani
Dani seems to have jumped ship to the new school side already as she has created a close bond with Nicole Franzel. Dani is smart, but also quick to say what she thinks. She seems like she’s safe this week, but that quality might hurt her down the line.
11
Da'Vonne
Day’s early(ish) evictions her first two runs will help her out this season. Her threat level will be lower while she plans her set-up and attacks. I don’t think she’ll be a target for the first week noms.
11
Ian
This first week Ian seems like he’s still trying to find his footing and who to really trust in this game. It seems he is better at one-on-one conversations rather than group ones, so it may be a little bit until we see him flourish in the game. Hopefully he can lay low until then.
12
Dani
Dani has shown herself to be strong in challenges, which goes against Cody’s Day 1 confession to Julie about putting up the weaker competitors. I doubt she’d be put on the block, and if she were, there’s always a veto competition…
12
David
David is coming to this season with a lot to prove with little to no resume. Being a night one evictee from the previous season means that he has the chance for an early target since there’s little blood on whoever wants to target him. However, he’s got in good with both Cody and Tyler, so he should be safe this week barring any twists.
13
Janelle
Janelle is the only HG who’s played four times. Could she be following in Survivor Boston Rob’s footsteps, and could #4 earn her the win? I’m not sure if the others will let her get that far (let’s remember that she’s playing with All-Stars, not newbies). Having also recently come off an Amazing Race stint, there could be a hint of jealousy. I’m pegging her midway in the ladies group, assuming she may be in trouble from her legacy, but can hopefully avoid the block and an eviction.
13
Nicole A
Nicole is a charmer who has the ability to bring anybody over to her side through a one-on-one conversation, but her early connections to Kaysar and Janelle might make her a target for others. While I see no one wanting to target her, I could see her being an easy pawn to be put up next to someone.
14
Keesha
Did you all see Keesha sidestep the front door so she didn’t enter first?? She’s going to play HARD this season, every minute and every detail. She doesn’t have prior game allies coming in, so she could be a great person for another alliance to pick up to bulk their numbers. OR she might be someone Cody can nominate without too much repercussion given few former relationships. Let’s hope it’s the former.
14
Memphis
While Memphis has not wasted any time with talking game with folks, he might have chosen the wrong people to talk to within the old school players. Memphis finally kicked it up a gear and bonded with some of the new schooler boys like Cody and Tyler, but only time will tell how true that bond is.
15
Nicole F
I’m a Nicole fan and really hope that she stays in the game! BUT, she looked a little sad and lonely in the premiere, so I’m concerned about the alliances she’ll make quickly. Also, she’s the only female winner in the cast, which could lend an easy reason to evict while minimizing blood. The Julie question about the big wedding may have helped put a target on her head, as Nicole ended up with the big money plus the guy.
15
Kevin
Kevin seems like he’s more excited to be in the house rather than play the game, and this is coming back to bite him. An easy target for Cody as Kevin hasn’t really bonded with anybody yet. I expect to see him on the block and worry he may go home too.
16
Christmas
She’s a triple threat plus. Challenge beast, beautiful, and socially strong. Also, a production fav – who the heck else gets away with voting from the hospital, AND emailing their entire professional network that they’ll be playing BB All-Stars before the cast reveal, without consequences? I think the others might want to get her out pronto. Also, she was the first one in the house (ah the BB curse!) AND already won $5k! Enough said.
16
Keesha
Fans were very excited to hear that Keesha is back, but unfortunately, we aren’t seeing the same fire under we did in her in season 10. Maybe being on the block will make her change her game up, but if not, Keesha might be our first evictee of the season.
