Survivor: Cambodia Player of the Week – Episode 1

Each week on Inside Survivor we will be naming one castaway from the current season the title of Player of the Week. After reviewing the latest episode, we will determine which player impressed us the most with their social skills, strategic prowess, craftiness, and creativity. We will keep a tally throughout the season so that we can keep track of who is impressing the most.

The Player of the Week for Survivor: Cambodia – Second Chance Episode 1 is…

sneakKelley Wentworth

Here is what the Inside Survivor contributors had to say about Kelley Wentworth after Episode 1:

Martin: Kelley Wentworth came into Cambodia as perhaps the least known returnee and quickly became the star of the premiere. It’s not just because she found the idol, but how and when she did it. Firstly, the way she found the clue was done smartly and efficiently – it demonstrated awareness and forward-thinking. Then, deciding to grab the idol in the middle of the challenge took a lot of guts. And on top of that, Wentworth bonded with her tribe-mates and found herself in the majority alliance without making herself look a major threat.

Jacob: I hope everyone else is as impressed by Kelley as I am. Just having the guts to go for that idol is spectacular in itself. I’m very excited to see how she continues to play, and I have faith that Kelley is going to surprise more and more people.

Rob: I’ve been on #TeamWentworth since the bitch faces and snarky comments in San Juan Del Sur, so I had a lot of faith in Kelley coming into this season. And boy, did she deliver. Not only did she get the most confessionals in the episode, but she found an idol clue and boldly grabbed the idol at the challenge! #SneakySneaky! She kept up her snarky comments and active bitch faces when Vytas was doing his creepy yoga, and I loved every second of it. She proved to everyone that she deserved her second chance as much as any of the other people in the cast. This girl will be the one to watch this season.

Shawn: Kelly Wentworth is making the most of her second chance. From shoring up numbers, to finding an idol at the challenge, she’s proven that she’s willing to do anything and everything to put herself in a good position.
