Week 3 Stats

Our resident stat man Rob Brodeur isn’t just a font of Survivor knowledge; he’s also a long-time Big Brother fan, which means each week he will be on hand with all the latest stats for this All-Stars season. 

HOH (Head of Household)

• Tyler won the “Mug Shots” HOH competition.
  • Variations of this challenge have previously been used in BB2, BB3, BB4, BB5, BB6, BB19, and BB22.
    • Janelle and Christmas have competed in this competition twice.
      • Kaysar was present when this competition was played in BB6, but he was outgoing HOH so he couldn’t compete.
• This is Tyler’s fourth HOH win.
  • He won HOH in Week 1, 10, and Day 86 in BB20.
• All three players to win HOH this season so far were runner-ups in their original season.
  • Week 1: Cody won HOH and was runner-up in BB16.
  • Week 2: Memphis won HOH and was runner-up in BB10.
  • Week 3: Tyler won HOH and was runner-up in BB20.
    • Dani is the only runner-up in her original season that hasn’t won HOH yet this season.
      • Every male runner-up that’s competing this season has won HOH already this season.

Safety Suite

• Enzo won the Safety Suite competition.
  • He chose Christmas as his plus one.
  • Christmas has both won and been a plus one for the Safety Suite competition.
• Every time someone won the Safety Suite competition, their plus one was a player of the opposite gender.
  • Kaysar chose Janelle.
  • Christmas chose Ian.
  • Enzo chose Christmas.
• With the Safety Suite twist ending this week, Tyler, Nicole A, and Keesha are the only players to never use their VIP pass.
  • Keesha and Nicole A were evicted without using theirs and Tyler didn’t use his week 1 or 2 and then became HOH week 3.
  • Tyler is the only player still in the game who hasn’t competed in the Safety Suite competition.
• Christmas is still the only woman to win a competition this season so far.

Nominations

• Tyler nominated Janelle and Kaysar for eviction.
  • For the last two weeks, the nominations have been from the same original season.
    • David & Nicole A: BB21.
    • Janelle & Kaysar: BB6.
• Tyler is the first male HOH to nominate Janelle and Kaysar together.
  • Maggie and Jennifer nominated them in BB6.
• This is the third time Janelle and Kaysar have been on the block together on eviction night.
  • Weeks 4 and 6 in BB6.
  • Week 3 in BB22.
    • Kaysar has been nominated twice without Janelle.
      • BB6: Kaysar was nominated along Ashlea in week 1.
        • Ashlea was coincidentally Janelle’s secret partner that season.
          • Also coincidentally, Janelle was nominated alongside Michael (who was Kaysar’s secret partner) in week 2 of BB6.
          • Kaysar and Janelle both voted against each other in week 1 and 2 of BB6.
      • BB7: Janelle and James were nominated and Kaysar was the replacement nominee after Janelle won POV in week 5.
• This is Janelle’s thirteenth time being nominated, and Kaysar’s fifth time being nominated.

POV (Power of Veto)

• Cody won the “Cupcake Clash” POV competition.
  • This is his fourth POV win.
  • Cody has never used the POV when he won it.
• This is the first season that the POV hasn’t been used in the first three weeks of the game.
• Tyler has competed in 15 out of the 17 POV competitions he’s been present for.
  • Week 4 and Week 9 in BB20 are the only times he’s not played in the POV competition.
  • Tyler has competed in every POV competition so far this season.
  • He was HOH for four of them and on the block for one of them (prior to final 6), which means he’s been chosen to compete in the POV seven times.

Eviction

• Janelle was evicted 9-2.
  • She was evicted on her 200th day of playing Big Brother.
    • She’s the first player to reach 200 days played in Big Brother.
  • The vote was 9-2 in Week 1 of BB6, and Kaysar received 2 votes at both eviction ceremonies.
  • This is Janelle’s fourth time being evicted from Big Brother.
    • She holds the record for most times evicted from Big Brother with four.
    • She’s been evicted twice pre-jury and made it to the final 3 twice.
    • She was the third person voted out at an eviction ceremony in BB14 and BB22, and she made it to final 3 in BB6 and BB7.
      • Ian voted Janelle out in BB14 and BB22.
  • All three players evicted so far this season were previously voted America’s Favorite Player.
    • Keesha: BB10.
    • Nicole A: BB21.
    • Janelle: BB7.
      • Tyler is the only player left that won AFP.
      • Every woman who won AFP has been evicted.
  • This is the first season since BB2 where the first three people voted out at an eviction ceremony were women.
    • The first three players evicted in BB14 were women, but Jodi was evicted in the night 1 coach twist.
    • This is the first time where the first three players who left the game were women, as Justin was first out when he was expelled in BB2, and Willie was thirrd out when he was expelled in BB14.
  • The first three players evicted were in the same entering group on premiere night.
    • Bayleigh is the only player that is left from her premiere night entering group.
  • This is the first time Janelle didn’t make it past week 3.
  • This is the first time Janelle was evicted while nominated with Kaysar at an eviction ceremony.
    • This is the first time Kaysar has been in the Big Brother house without Janelle.
      • He’s always been evicted before her in their seasons.
      • Janelle won HOH twice right after Kaysar was evicted.
        • Week 7 in BB6.
        • Week 6 in BB7.
  • Janelle is the first player to be evicted that played in a Safety Suite Competition.
    • Keesha and Nicole A never competed in a Safety Suite Competition.
