Tai Trang is a 51-year-old professional gardener from San Francisco, California. Trang emigrated from Vietnam with his family in 1980 when he was just a teenager and moved to San Francisco in 1991; he now resides in Quesada Gardens where he lives with his partner Mark. He is part of the Quesada Garden Project where he uses his skills in gardening and landscaping to maintain the habitat, which includes pruning palm fronds (will come in very handy on Survivor!) and even helping a neighbor transform her garden into a thriving bee colony. Yes, Trang is a beekeeper that has even donated his honey to the Quesada Garden General Store. As well as bees, Trang also maintains and looks after chickens, although in 2013 three of those chickens came to a deadly end when they were attacked by a raccoon, thankfully Kimmi Kappenberg is away in Cambodia and won’t hear this terrible news.
When he isn’t taking care of his local community with his expert talents in gardening and animal husbandry, Trang is dedicated to charity work for AIDS awareness. He has taken part in the annual 545-mile AIDS/LifeCycle ride since 2000 and also worked closely with The Department of Public Health’s HIV research team in San Francisco. Trang will be a member of the Beauty tribe on Survivor Kaôh Rōng – Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty 2.

I don’t know why the Sucksters are complaining about him being on Beauty. Best example of inner beauty ever on Survivor.
I agree completely. He is such a kind person, and he’s, well, awesome.
He’s on beauty because he’s a gardener, I assumed that since they often refer to careers, he uses beauty in his every day life and that’s why he’s on beauty. I’m pretty sure hairdressers would also count for example. In the cagayan intro he said that its all about what they use most – almost like worlds apart actually. To make tribes even they have to be lenient with the lines for casting. Or else there would be unilateral challenge dominance depending on the challenge
I think he could be beauty because he’s a gardener. I mean the lines are always blurred in seasons like this. Plus, I think he uses his inner beauty in his daily life, he seems so social.
Thanks for the post!
Who says he isn’t beautiful? He looks wonderful to me!

Comen on people. It’s not too hard to find out that he’s on the beauty tribe because of all good things he has done, because of his good heart.
Remember on first BBB Bryce was on Beauty because of what he had been through. This is the same. It’s all about the inner beauty and let’s be honest, that’s the best twist ever.
