Immunity Challenge – “The Deep”
- Variations of this challenge were previously used in Vanuatu, Cook Islands, Micronesia, Philippines, Cagayan, Millennials vs. Gen X, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, Ghost Island, Survivor 41, and Survivor 43.
- Yanu is the first purple tribe to compete in this challenge and lose.
- Malakal (Micronesia), Solana (Cagayan), Takali (Millennials vs. Gen X), and Naviti (Ghost Island) all won this challenge.
- Yanu is the first purple tribe to compete in this challenge and lose.
- Charlie is the only Siga member to compete in every challenge so far.
- Nami has placed first, Siga has placed second, and Yanu has lost every immunity challenge so far.
- Yanu is the fifth tribe in Survivor history to lose the first four immunity challenges.
- Maraamu in Marquesas
- Ulong in Palau

- This is the first episode where all three tribes won at least one challenge.

Tribal Council
- Bhanu was voted out 3-0.
- He’s the second player this season to be voted out in a tribal council where he was ineligible to vote, following Jelinsky.
- Bhanu is the fifth player to be voted out during an informal/verbal vote. The others are as follows:
- Ian in Palau was verbally voted out by Tom after the final immunity challenge.
- Brandon was verbally voted out by his tribe before an immunity challenge in Caramoan
- Varner was verbally voted out during tribal council after outing Zeke in Game Changers.
- Tori Meehan was verbally voted out during the split tribal council in Survivor 42.
- Brandon, Tori, and Bhanu were all on purple tribes when this occurred.
- This episode had the earliest instance of a verbal vote out.
- He’s the second Indian-American player to be voted out on day 9 after Swati in Survivor 42.
- The three Yanu tribe members whose names were alphabetically first have been eliminated, while the three members whose names are alphabetically last are still in the game.
- Q is the highest ranking man from Yanu.
- Jess is the only player who’s been eliminated so far to cast a vote when she was eliminated.
- Kenzie, Q, and Tiffany have voted together at all three tribal councils.
- Both men from Yanu that have been voted out went to the journey and lost their votes.

Episode Title
- The episode title “Don’t Touch the Oven” was said by Kenzie when talking about Bhanu being like a toddler who doesn’t listen to their parents.
- This is the second episode title in a row where someone was referring to Bhanu.
