Reward Challenge: “Running Down a Dream”
- Variations of this challenge have previously been used in Edge of Extinction, Winners at War, and Survivor 41.
- Both times this challenge was used as a tribal reward the yellow tribe won and the blue tribe lost.
- Survivor 41: Yase won, Luvu lost.
- Survivor 45: Lulu won, Belo lost.
- Both times this challenge was used as a tribal reward the yellow tribe won and the blue tribe lost.
- Reba has won every reward challenge so far.
- This was the first challenge that Lulu has won this season.
- The challenge name is a reference to the Tom Petty song, “Runnin’ Down a Dream.”
Immunity Challenge: “Draggin’ the Dragon”
- Variations of this challenge have previously been used in Cagayan, Cambodia, Winners at War, and Survivor 42.
- Both times a yellow tribe competed in this challenge they lost.
- Cambodia: Angkor lost.
- Survivor 45: Lulu lost.
- Belo is the first blue tribe to compete in this challenge and win.
- Sele lost in Winners at War.
- Ika lost in Survivor 42.
- Both times a yellow tribe competed in this challenge they lost.
- Austin is the only Reba player who has competed in all of the challenges the tribe has participated in.
- Reba hasn’t lost a challenge yet.
- Lulu is the third yellow tribe to lose the first three immunity challenges. The others are as follows:
- Maraamu in Marquesas.
- Foa Foa in Samoa.
- Lulu is the second tribe to lose the first three challenges in a 3-starting tribe season.
- The first was Matsing in Philippines.
Hidden Immunity Idol
- Sabiyah is the 21st player voted out while in possession of a hidden immunity idol.
- She’s the first player since Shan in Survivor 41 to be voted out while in possession of a hidden immunity idol.
- With Austin and Sabiyah getting their idols in this episode, Belo is the only tribe whose idol hasn’t been found yet.
Advantage
- Drew is the first player to have the “restore your vote” advantage.
Tribal Council
- Sabiyah was voted out 2-1.
- She’s the first person since Genie in Survivor 41 to be voted out 2-1.
- There have only been four players voted out in a 2-1 vote (not counting revotes or idols being used).

- Ibrehem is the only player with this distinction who wasn’t originally on a six-person starting tribe.
- All four players that were voted out 2-1 were voted out by a man and a woman.

- Genie was voted out by Ricard & Shan.
- Sabiyah was voted out by Emily & Kaleb.

- Survivor 45 is the first time where this has happened with three people.
- Every new era season had at least one tribal council in the first three tribals where a player was unable to vote.
- Survivor 41: Xander was unable to vote at the third tribal due to having the beware advantage.
- Survivor 42: Zach played his Shot in the Dark at the first tribal, Marya played her Shot in the Dark at the second tribal, Mike was unable to vote during the third tribal due to having the beware advantage, and Chanelle was unable to vote at the third tribal after losing her vote at the summit.
- Survivor 43: Dwight was unable to vote at the second tribal council after losing his vote at the summit.
- Survivor 44: Lauren banked her vote at the first tribal, Matthew & Jaime played their Shot in the Dark at the first tribal, Sarah was unable to vote at the second tribal after losing her vote at the summit, Matt was unable to vote at the third tribal after losing his vote at the summit, Claire played her Shot in the Dark at the third tribal.
- Survivor 45: Hannah quit at the first tribal, Brandon was unable to vote at the second tribal after losing his vote at the summit, and Sabiyah was unable to vote at the second and third tribals due to having the beware advantage/idol.
- Survivor 43 is the only season so far in the new era where everyone voted at the third tribal council.
- Survivor 41: Xander didn’t have a vote.
- Survivor 42: Mike & Chanelle didn’t have a vote.
- Survivor 44: Matt didn’t have a vote, and Claire played her Shot in the Dark, which left her unable to vote.
- Survivor 45: Sabiyah lost her vote.
Confessionals
- Kaleb had the most confessionals this episode with 11.
- J. Maya, Sifu, Brando, and Bruce had 0 confessionals this episode.
- Of the players remaining, Emily and Kaleb are tied for most confessionals with 17 each.
- Sabiyah left the game with 23 total confessionals.
- J. Maya has the least number of confessionals with 2.

- The third episode received 5.091 million viewers and 0.84 in the Adults 18-49 demo.
Episode Title
- The episode title “No Man Left Behind” was said by Sabiyah when talking about their decision to vote out Brandon at the previous tribal council.
- So far, all three episode titles have been said by Lulu members
