Survivor 41 came to an end this past Wednesday when Erika Casupanan, the 32-year-old Communications Manager from Toronto, Ontario, beat out Deshawn Radden and Xander Hastings in a 7-1-0 vote to become the Sole Survivor and winner of the $1 million prize.
Throughout the season we have been running a Player of the Week poll after each episode (you can see the weekly results below). However, now it is time to vote for your Player of the Season. Who impressed you the most with their strategic gameplay, social skills, and overall performance during the season?
As you can see from the results below, Shan received the most Player of the Week titles during the season, with a total of four. Shans’s victories all came in the pre-merge. The only other players to win Player of the Week across the season were Evvie, Erika, Ricard, and Xander, all finishing with two each. Last week, readers voted Erika the Player of the Week with 679 Votes (42.84%).

Xander in first… really? Half the cast was playing circles around him after he gave Liana the fake idol, which was his only notable move. I understand completely why he lost. The only three worth considering are Erika, Ricard, and Shan. You have to remember the question isn’t a matter of favorites – it’s who played the best game.

My Heart really goes all in for Xander, who should have won hands down over Erika. When He seriously thought of having Her Make Fire, He would have Won or at the very least got a number of votes.For Him to have misread the jury, had to be for youthful exuberance and His “Fair” mindful Stategy that Ultimately was Betrayed!! Stay Gold Xander…You were the Best!
Xander had to fight for his life from week ONE. They were all out to get him…until it was Ricard. He was so smart on keeping Ricard around as a shield!
Xander played a great game. Was hoping he would win. Way to go Xander you did great.
Objectively, Xander played a worse version of Michele’s WAW game. He was on the bottom the whole season, let other people boss him around, and found little trinkets that didn’t do anything for him. Not to mention that Amanda-level of bad Final Tribal Council. It’s insane that he gets so much credit when Erika, Shan, Ricard, Danny, Evvie… even Heather… played better than him. I can’t say I’m surprised, considering the audience’s demographic, but… okay.
I’m just glad Erika won! She was one of my favorites from week one! Also its about time a woman took home the victory
