Survivor: Kaôh Rōng Power Rankings Round 7

Survivor: Kaôh Rōng is underway and so are the Inside Survivor Power Rankings. Each week, I (Martin “Redmond” Holmes) will test my mettle against Survivor veterans Jeff Varner and Kelley Wentworth.

In Round 6, Martin took first place with 12 points for ranking Peter in 12th place). Jeff and Kelley came in joint second with 11 points each. Martin still currently leads overall with 80 points, Kelley follows closely behind with 74, and Jeff is still trailing with 51.

The Rules

Each week the three power rankers will create separate rankings based on least likely to most likely to be eliminated. The ranking of the player who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the three rankers will earn. For example, if Scot was voted out in Episode 7, Martin would receive 8 points, Kelley would receive 9 points and Jeff would receive 4 points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the Survivor: Kaôh Rōng Power Rankings Champion.

Bonuses:

If the player ranked in 1st place finds an idol you gain 10 points.
If the player ranked in last place isn’t eliminated but receives a vote(s) against them you gain 5 points.
If the player ranked in 1st place wins individual immunity you gain 10 points (post-merge).

1. Merge time is her time. While she hides behind the brawn aggression, she’ll bond with the beauties nicely. Best shot to win right now. 1. Next tribal: Beauty Brawn Brain I Don’t Know. 1. Last week Debbie said he “doesn’t do s**t”. But I guess he doesn’t have to with an idol in his pocket.

2. Holding an idol and possibly about to have knowledge of Tai’s. A bond with the beauties puts him in a good spot. 2. Saving all her words for episodes 7-12. 2. Will he be less valued as we enter the individual portion of the game? Maybe. But who cares, he has an idol.

3. Friendly, carefree and smart. She seems the brain most likely to outlast while not threatening. 3. Move over Tyra Banks, there’s a new Top Model in town. 3. Neal rounds out the idol trifecta. Brains might be in trouble but he has protection.
ScotPic TaiPic CydneyPic
4. Potential to go deep, but his hands are too dirty to go all the way. 4. “Tai’s the biggest threat, let’s get him out.” Said no one. 4. Merge time just means more people to admire Cydney. She should be fine.

5. Shown she’s under-the-radar strong. Will reap the benefit of working with brawn. 5. Would never tolerate a man talking down to her, unless it’s for a million dollars. 5. She doesn’t need to be carried, bro. Her social skills will keep her safe.

6. Perhaps Blindside Butterscotch will soon hit the menu. 6. Taking a page out of the Sandra Diaz-Twine “Anybody But Me” book. 6. The merge is coming at the perfect time for Julia. She should be able to slide into the background.

7. Beauty most likely to eat Neal’s idol. 7. Used up all his words in episodes 1-5. 7. Will voting out a fellow Brain hurt her? It could be an uphill battle but she has the smarts to survive.

8. Brains are in trouble. He’s making deals with them while the brawns know about his idol. 8. Those ice cream pants are a special kind of camouflage ’cause he keeps blending in with the background. 8. He knows where two idols are, so he should be safe. But his physical presence might make him an easy merge target.

9. Michele’s bro will go and she’ll revel in it. 9. Might as well use the merge flag paint to draw a bullseye on his back. 9. He was on the wrong-side of the vote last week. Does that put him on the outs? Could be easy merge fodder.

10. Who knows. 10. Better at handling blue balls than expected. 10. As much as I hate to say it, I think Debbie could be in trouble. She is the most obvious schemer and that could paint a big target on her.

11. Her wheeling and dealing is great to watch. But an apparent beauty pact with brawn puts her in the crosshairs. 11. His mama didn’t raise no fool. 11. Young, fit, male. Good at challenges. Increased air-time last episode. All good signs for a merge boot.
