Each week here on Inside Survivor we will be running a fan poll to determine the Player of the Week in Survivor South Africa. Readers can vote for the player that impressed them the most with their strategic gameplay, social skills, and overall performance. The poll will close on Wednesday.

In the fourth episode of Survivor South Africa: Immunity Island, we saw the elimination of 29-year-old aftercare teacher Paul Cupido. Having just flipped at the previous vote along with his close ally Francois “Chappies” Chapman, Paul looked to be in a solid position on his post-swap tribe. However, his attitude around camp and at the challenges was beginning to rub some people the wrong way.

Paul felt the tide beginning to turn against him, but he’d received assurances from the likes of Anela Majozi that everything was fine. That wasn’t the case, as Carla Gubb, Amy Eliason, Santoni Engelbrecht, and Wardah Hartley joined forces to break up the powerful Paul and Chappies duo. In the end, Paul was sent home in a 5-2-1 vote.

The winner of last week’s poll was Santoni with 178 Votes (32.42%).
