In the seventh episode of Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, we saw the elimination of Jessica Johnston, the 30-year-old Nurse Practitioner from Louisville, Kentucky. Ben deserves this one. He was the true decision-maker for this crucial vote. We’ll see, down the line, if it was the right decision or the wrong one.
Ben was the swing vote and he picked the side that had longer-term plans for him. He also exhibited far more self-awareness than Chrissy. I also liked his subtle question to Joe about where he found the idol – that was brilliant since it gave him more info to deduce that Joe might have the Levu idol too. Chrissy meanwhile made herself a mega target and might be blindsided by her own alliance down the road. I wasn’t impressed with her this episode the way I’d been before.
I was a Chrissy fan but noticed the same. Think she might be blindsided by Ben with help from Mike and Lauren
Chrissy controlled the conversation about who the target should be from her alliance. Ben controlled which way the vote swung. I disagree with those who say Chrissy put a big target on her back this week (it was already there) or those who think Ben isn’t considered just as much a threat (look at Joe telling Cole to wake up and realise Ben is playing him). From my perspective, they both have the same weakness, being a big threat right now. So it’s a wash – either one of them would be a good candidate for player of the week, and it’s certainly no-one else.
Agreed. It was a hard choice and tbh, the only reason I really voted for Ben over Chrissy was because she won it before, haha. That being said, I don’t mind her already being a repeat winner and expect we’ll be able to secure a Ben win soon.
