Next Time On Survivor – Episode 12

Tillie Reilly makes her predictions for the next episode.

Last week we were faced with a double elimination and both Michael and Jenna could’ve been saved if they’d played things the correct way. First of all, Jenna tried to play Donathan and then had the nerve to call him an idiot when she was getting played the whole time. During the season, we saw an incredibly boring and monotone side of her, but as soon as her Ponderosa video came out, I really liked her. She’s actually pretty hilarious and I wish production included that side of her in the edit. Donathan had intentions to play his idol on her, but Jenna screwed that up when she got to tribal and didn’t even try to fight for herself. She was playing it off as if she gave up and it got a bit suspicious.

When it comes to Michael, I was a fan of him because he was always on the bottom and was faced with having to save himself week after week. He could’ve made it out of last week’s tribal if he didn’t toss his vote away on Wendell. Last time he voted for Libby to get her voted out in order to save himself, and this time if he would’ve voted for Laurel, she would’ve been the one to go home instead. With that said, a majority of double boot episodes consist of people who are usually obvious to go home, so I wasn’t expecting anything shocking to happen.

Naviti No More

This week it looks like Kellyn has finally wrapped her head around the fact that it was never a ‘Naviti strong until the end’ game. For someone as big of a fan as her, I feel like she should know that isn’t how the game is played, and it won’t be as easy as “let’s just vote off everyone on the other tribe and then let it be all Naviti.” Like, no. Someone’s going to use a few Malolos for extra options and numbers and Kellyn is clueless.

In the preview, we catch Kellyn saying, “He doesn’t even care, which pisses me off.” “He” is referring to either Wendell or Dom (going to guess Dom since he is a straight-forward guy). Last tribal we saw Kellyn get a little emotional, so maybe the game is finally getting to her, and her end-game is near. Another reason why she could be so upset is if either Dom or Wendell won the family reward and she wasn’t chosen to go on it with them. That would be a harsh betrayal (in her mind) and the wake-up call she needs to start playing the game instead of sitting back doing nothing.

Power Couple

When we look at the episode description for this week, it reads: “Loved ones visit the castaways; castaways must bond to break up a power couple.” Obviously, this points to someone attempting to break up Wendell and Dom. You can also check out the press photos where you will find photos of all four females coming together. Is Kellyn trying to build up an all women’s alliance to take out Dom and Wendell? If so, there is no way Laurel will team up with Kellyn after getting voted for by her… TWICE. Laurel is in such a tight bond with Dom and Wendall; I think once Kellyn even speaks “let’s target the power couple,” Laurel is going to run right back to them and tell them everything.

My personal opinion here, no doubt Dom and Wendall have been dominating the game, and one of them deserves to win, but it bothers me everyone else won’t take a hit at them and try to get one of them out. When one person wants them out, everyone else runs back to them to tell them about it. TAKE THE SHOT.

Predictions

Who’s on the chopping block?

The last promo was fairly obvious as well as the promo for Desiree going home, so if this week’s promo is just as obvious, Kellyn is going. If not Kellyn, then maybe Dom and Wendell think Chelsea is too big of a threat since she won immunity twice and they may want her out over Kellyn. I 110% think it’s one of them for sure.

Who wins immunity?

With Chelsea already winning two so far, I think she has a big chance to win. Honestly, her winning twice has surprised me a bit considering the edit she’s getting. Dom would be my second option to win this challenge. I’m going to back away from guessing Wendell wins because every time I say he will, he doesn’t.

Who goes to Ghost Island?

Now that we’re getting down to the end of the season, these rewards are going to become individual wins and not team wins. I think someone like Sebastian may win and whoever doesn’t get chosen to go on the family visit has to draw rocks to go to Ghost Island. Meaning: probably Laurel or Donathan.

Will an Idol or Advantage get played?

I think if Kellyn works Angela and Chelsea enough, they will vote for one of the two big dogs and that may trigger Wendell or Dom to play their idols. Kellyn was also close to Sebastian so he would probably be the fourth vote. This week’s tribal could turn out to be a tie.

Who goes home?

No doubt it’s going to be Kellyn or Chelsea. Donathan and Laurel are in the clear. Angela is basically invisible now. Sebastian who? The targets are Dom and Wendell, and by Kellyn targeting them, she becomes the target along with her close ally Chelsea, who has won two immunities.

As for my winner prediction, I don’t think I have to persuade anyone anymore that Wendell is going to win. This season started off so strong with throwing everyone off with amazing people being voted off, and now it’s come to this point in the game.

That’s it for this week. There are only three more Wednesdays until the season comes to a close and I’m not ready for the long offseason Reddit memes about Ciera voting out her mom. If you have any questions or comments in general, drop them into the comment section below and I’ll check them out! Thanks!

  1. With only 3 episodes left do you think there will be another double elimination or the final episode will be final 6?

    • No, theyre going to end up going into the finale with 6 people left over like previous seasons. So only 1 person going home next week. It sucks, I think it’s too many people to vote off in the finale but oh well

    • No I think theyre going to go into the finale with 6. So 1 person going home next week and then the finale with 6 left over

  2. Michael never voted for Libby, he voted for Wendell when he thought that everyone that he talked to would vote for Wendell as well.

    • Whoops- I did this last week and said Des voted for Michael when it was Chelsea. I need to double check these tribal votes before doing this I guess lol. I mightve been trying to referring to the tribal Stephanie went home? I think Michael voted for her to save himself since the votes were either going Michael or Stephanie.

  3. I am really hoping that the others decide to target Dom and Wendell, this season is becoming very predictable. It would be great to see Laurel flip on Dom and Wendell, she has been talking about waiting for the right time for so long.

    • Laurel is probably going to end up being the goat in the end. She is going to wait too long to make a move to the point where she cant make it anymore and then go to the end with no argument to make to win

  4. It won’t be a double elimination again next episode. They always have a finale episode with 6. Last season they did 5 because there were only 18 people.

  5. And Chelsea must have done something to upset the producers. For all we know, she could win!
