They’re not.
To all those who voted Carl. He misplayed his nullifier. He could’ve hold on to it for another tribal if they just voted out Mike or Allison.
Well I think they wanted Dan out. Dan is an immunity threat, so getting him out, over Mike, Alison and Alec who they can work with in the future makes sense. The only other option would be to get Angelina out, but she is harmless really, in terms of being a threat to win.
Well….maybe they wanted to get rid of Dan. He was on the opposing side. Better to flush out an idol than get rid of Alison or Mike who had no advantages or idols.
I don’t understand why Carl is player of the week. It is rather obvious to play idol nullifier against person he knew everyone in his team is voting for. I don’t see it as a brilliant move.
The player of the week could be any David. What they’ve done as a team this season is special… They’ve set aside their egos, played the strategic game, and used advantages perfectly. The strategy session on the beach– at which every David contributed– was like a model of team unity and purpose. There was something delicious about the Tribal Council, watching their plan unfold as they chided the Goliaths (and the editors seemed to back them up) on their conservative, gutless play.
Anyway, I voted Nick, if for nothing else, the way he played his Vote Steal against Alison. As if to say, “You’re with us whether you like it or not, you waffle.”
