Hidden Immunity Idol
- This is Ozzy’s 2nd time being voted out of Survivor with a hidden immunity idol.
- He’s the first player to be voted out twice while in possession of a hidden immunity idol.
- Ozzy has been in possession of 3 hidden immunity idols on Survivor and has never negated a vote with one.
- Ozzy is the first player to be voted out with a hidden immunity idol since Q on Survivor 46.
- They were both on the post-swap Vatu tribe this season.
- Rizo is the only player left with a hidden immunity idol.
- This is his second season in a row being the only player with a hidden immunity idol going into episode 12.
- This is the 3rd time that an idol was played in an episode where someone else went home with an idol.
- The first time was episode 8 of Samoa where Russell played an idol and Erik was voted out with an idol.
- The second time was episode 8 of Island of the Idols, where Kellee was voted out with her idols and Janet played an idol at the following tribal council.
- Samoa is the only time this happened at the same tribal council, as Island of the Idols had a double episode, and In the Hands of the Fans had a split tribal council.
Split Tribal Council
- This is the first season to have two separate split tribal councils in one season.
- Jonathan is the 2nd player to be immune for a split tribal council twice.
- The first player with this distinction is Dee.
- With the exception of Survivor 41, Survivor 45, & Survivor 46, every time there’s been a split tribal council where the merged tribe is split in two, both of the players voted out were from the same starting tribe.
- Ghost Island – Jenna & Michael started on Malolo.
- Island of the Idols – Aaron & Missy started on Lairo.
- Survivor 41 – Naseer started on Luvu & Evvie started on Yase.
- Survivor 42 – Rocksroy & Tori started on Ika.
- Survivor 43 – James & Ryan started on Coco.
- Survivor 45 – Sifu started on Reba & Kaleb started on Lulu.
- Survivor 46 – Tim started on Siga & Soda started on Nami.
- Survivor 49 – Sai & Cedrek stared on Vula
- In the Hands of the Fans – Emily & Ozzy started on Cila
- Ozzy was immune for the first split tribal council of the season, and was voted out at the second split tribal council.
- Cirie is the only player left from the blue team during the Blood Moon episode.
- Coach, Colby, Dee, & Emily have all been voted out.
- Rick is the only player who was on the same color “team” during both split tribal councils this season, being on pink both times.
- Ozzy & Rizo, who were immune during the Blood Moon tribal council were both at the same tribal council this episode.
Immunity Challenge – “Bermuda Triangles”
- Variations of this challenge were previously used in Marquesas, Pearl Islands, Panama, Caramoan, Cagayan, Cambodia, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, Winners at War, Survivor 42, & Survivor 46.
- Jonathan & Tiffany have done this challenge. Jonathan has previously won, & Tiffany came in 2nd place to Kenzie.
- Only original Kalo members have participated in this challenge twice.
- This challenge only lasted 4 minutes in Survivor 42
- Jeremy, Spencer, Tasha, Sarah, & Tony have all previously competed in this challenge twice.
- Jeremy is the only player from this list who wasn’t on Cagayan.
- Jonathan & Tiffany have done this challenge. Jonathan has previously won, & Tiffany came in 2nd place to Kenzie.
- Jonathan has won this challenge twice.
- Jonathan is the 5th player to win the exact same individual immunity challenge twice in separate seasons.
- Parvati won “When it Rains it Pours” on Micronesia & Heroes vs. Villains.
- She also won this as a tribal immunity challenge on Australian Survivor vs.The World
- Ozzy won “Get a Grip” on Cook Islands & South Pacific.
- Keith won “Pole Dancing” in San Juan del Sur & Cambodia.
- Joe won “Wrist Assured” on Survivor 48 & In the Hands of the Fans.
- Jonathan won “Bermuda Triangles” on Survivor 42 & In the Hands of the Fans
- Parvati won “When it Rains it Pours” on Micronesia & Heroes vs. Villains.
- This challenge has appeared in 3 all-returning player seasons, Cambodia, Winners at War, & In the Hands of the Fans.
- It also appeared in Caramoan, with Andrea winning, so returning players have always won this challenge when it’s been used on a season with returning players.
- Tiffany is the second player to win immunity, then have it taken away after a rule was broken.
- The first was Burton in Pearl Islands.

- Jonathan had the most confessionals this episode with 9.
- Joe & Rick had 2 confessionals this episode.
- Rick currently has the highest confessional count of the remaining players with 46.
- Tiffany currently has the lowest confessional count of the remaining players with 22.
Tribal Council #1
- Emily was voted out 4-2 after a 2-2-1 initial vote.
- Emily was voted out on day 21 in both of her seasons.
- Cirie is the highest ranking Cila woman.
- This was the first time that two tied players were allowed to vote on a re-vote.
- Emily is the first new era player to be voted out since Dee in episode 7.
- Both players from Survivor 45 have been voted out and are on the jury.
- Tiffany has outlasted her previous placement of 8th place.
- She’s the first player this season that will place higher than her best prior placement.
- This is the third time that an extra vote being used resulted in a tied vote.
- The first time was episode 10 of Ghost Island and the second time was episode 9 of Survivor 41.
- Cirie is the first player to use the extra vote during a tribal council where she’d have been voted out if it wasn’t used.
Tribal Council #2
- Ozzy was voted out 4-1.
- After this episode Ozzy has a total of 41 votes against him in his Survivor career.
- Ozzy holds the record for most times being voted out of Survivor with 6.
- 3 of the 6 times, it was a unanimous vote.
- Ozzy is the first player from Game Changers to be voted out this season.
- This will be Ozzy’s 4th time on the jury.
- He’s only correctly voted for the winner once. (Sophie in South Pacific)
- Ozzy has been voted out twice in an episode where an extra vote was used.
- Debbie used an extra vote in the episode of Game Changers when he was voted out
- Cirie used an extra vote in the episode of In the Hands of the Fans when he was voted out.
- Both of Ozzy’s advantages have been taken out of the game during this episode.
- Cirie used his extra vote.
- He was voted out while in possession of the hidden immunity idol.
- Both players voted out this episode started on Cila and were swapped to Vatu.
