The 48th season of Survivor recently wrapped up filming in Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands and will feature 18 new castaways vying for the title of Sole Survivor and the $1 million prize. As with previous new era seasons, Survivor 48 is expected to last for 26 days and feature three tribes.
Survivor 48 is scheduled to air in early 2025 at 8:00 PM on Wednesdays on CBS. An exact premiere date has not yet been announced. The Emmy-winning Jeff Probst will once again return as host.

Thank goodness. The first 5 castaways revealed are over 30. This could be a good sign.
One of them is at 30. There will be plenty of 20-somethings among the 13 that are yet to be revealed.
15 of 18 has been revealed and only 2 are younger than 30.
Who’s the second? I only see Eva.
I think Survivor 49 should be the older generation. Anyone over the age of 50
Excited to finally see the mysterious bearded man the 46 cast was talking about pregame. I wonder if he listened to the pregame interviews and knows he was coming off super strong.
Age wise it’s good but where are the cute, hot, athletic men?

Commenting negatively on people’s appearance is uncivil and should be moderated. It’s also ridiculous because these are small headshots. How can you tell if they’re athletic or not?
We are now a third of the way into the cast and all of them are in their 30’s. Interesting.

How exactly do you find these people, and how do you know they’re cast members, and apart of that specific season?

But anyway, how do you find these people and how do you know that they’re cast members and they’re apart of that specific season? For example, how did you know that someone from Survivor 47 wasn’t apart of Survivor 48?
Love the average age increase in 48 but so many of these players live in San Francisco, Brooklyn, NYC, LA, other parts of California …. More red states too please.
Curious to know if we are ever going to get the “white straight athletic jock archetype” ever again on Survivor. The last one was Dean in the old era. I get the focus is now on casting “average Joes” but I hope to see some eye candy back too.
