  1. Jon Lovett who worked for Obama as a speechwriter and is a co-host of the podcast Pod Save America and host of Lovett or Leave It is a contestant

  2. Look like another great group so far for Survivor 47. I can’t wait. Keep rocking it Jeff… you’re the MAN. Wouldn’t be Survivor without you. Thanks for all you do … “come on in” LOL … only you man, only you.

  3. I just wish Jeff would be upfront.

26 days allows them to make a cheaper game show, which makes CBS execs happy.

What started as COVID safety measures is now just about producing the show on less money.

It’s been that way for years.

Not having rewards as frequently, if at all. The sanctuary. Staying in Fiji. Having the castaway was stay at the same camps. No family visits. Shoot, even the hidden immunity idols look cheap.

This year the challenges just looked CHEAPLY made.

I will maintain that Jeff is focusing on making cheap tv game show that he can churn out and college his paycheck (all while making it about him) – he doesn’t care about the survivor’s experience anymore.

    • Don’t forget filming the after show immediately and without the prejury present. Social media would not reward Jeff if he were honest about this stuff. They would come down on him twice as hard. But it would be nice if he just dropped the subject instead of relentlessly arguing those were all good creative decisions.

  4. I’m glad that they did away with the family visit and a new rule needs to be made that the players can’t help in a individual challenge wrong one on every level.thanks

  5. I know who one of the 4 unknowns are. I won’t say Any names because I had to sign an nda but he wasn’t shown in the sneak peek last night.

  6. I have been watching survivor since the very first episode never missed an episode. The one thing I miss is the family getting to come see their loved ones. I wish they would do another one like blood versus water, where family members can come join and play the game with loved ones. My dreams of being on Survivor were crushed two weeks after I had applied. As now I’m in a wheelchair,I love the fact that they have had cast members with disabilities.
Would be nice to see more.Yes the game has changed, but the world we live in has also changed, and as fans we can choose to keep watching or not. So if you don’t like what you see, then don’t watch. That simple!! #Survivorfanforlife

  7. Where are the cute guys? Sigh…… Just because we got Hunter last season we don’t get another one for a few seasons?

I am excited to see the older lady Sue! 59 years old. I can’t wait to find out her life story

  8. Q ruined the final vote. What someone does with the money does not reflect the way the game was played by individuals. Charlie should have won.

  9. Do away with contestants helping others in INDIVIDUAL challenges or immunity. That was awful

  10. Bruh this isnt the place to complain about stuff
Anyways, we got another Hawaiian, AND someone from Manitoba? That’s so cool!

  11. In Jeff’s defense, CBS is who’s probably making the call on shorter seasons. He’s not the one who gets to decide the budget. He works with what he has.

  12. CBS/Jeff need to stop casting Canadians… it only takes up the slot for actual Americans. Doesn’t Canada have their own “version”?

    • @Jake Canada does have survivor but only for the province of quebec. Plus what’s thr issue with casting canadian players ? They have been more than amazing contenders. Todd, Shan, Omar, Maryanne and Kaleb. Infact it’s a shame that they only did that from 39. Imagine the amazing canadians we have gotten if they were allowed since season 1.

    • Erika, Maryanne, Omar, Kaleb, and Venus- Canadians consistently bring the gameplay and entertainment. More Canadians, please!

    • Pretty wild comment to make on a cast that includes Anika, Genevieve, and Miss Delaware herself Sierra.

      • I actually think all of them are cute. Sue is a little old for me, but she looks amazing for 59. At least based on appearance I’d date any of the others. I was drawn to Teeny right off. Someone else above is making the same comment about the guys. Stop having such ridiculous standards.

  13. I agree with you about Jeff, he shouldn’t be held accountable for budget cuts. He works with what he receives. As far as the family coming to see the contestants, THAT was/would be a great thing again to watch and was when they use to do that. And, helping another contestant! I say; “Hell yes! Why not? You are knowingly sacrificing your own game to help someone win! Yes, I do agree that Q through Charlie under the bus. Q THINKS he is so smart, so clever, but sadly, he did NOT win because of himself….The final winner, did deserve the win. I thought that season 46 was one of the best seasons! Go 46!!! Marie played a GREAT game, they ALL did! Asurvivorfriendto theend! Karen M/Ky girl

    • Imma stop you right there. Kenzie did not deserve to win. It should’ve been Charlie and we all know that.

  14. There’s Survivor Quebec but that is only for one province (AKA state.) Sounds like you’re just mad because Canadians do really well.

  15. I feel bad for all the folks who apply again and again out of a sincere desire to play the game of a lifetime only to see one of the goddamn Podjohns fame their way into a pointless appearance and early boot

  16. Where are the hot girls and guys in the new era? Yes. I’m that shallow. It seems like everyone is quirky and very young. Unfortunately, I’m closer to Jeff’s age and will never be cast on Survivor but they could at least try to cast a man or woman in their late 50’s. It’s not like they are 80. I’ve been watching since Day 1 Episode 1. It’s not the same but I will never quit watching Survivor. It’s the greatest show on television. I’m looking forward in seeing how Aysha does. I hope she goes far, makes the jury or the Final 3. She doesn’t have to win. I’m not that greedy.

    • I may stop watching, as the cast consists of pretty much twenty and thirty year olds with only one player in their 50’s. Not a fair representation and frankly more like a ” Frat House” mentality. And also too much focus on contestants personal/emotional
      feelings. Sad.

  17. From the beginning should be Kenzie Charlie didn’t do anything special in the game just delayed the Maria blindside and never got the move all the Mai’s decisions were made
By Maria . Kenzie played a social game and strategically social knew hot to position herself was authentic while Charlie was another straight white guy who played a very boring game

      • Not to mention another male yet to be announced… there’s typically only been 3 per season since the new era so this is fitting. Only difference I noticed is there’s usually one per tribe and that’s not the case here. Same with how there’s only 3 white woman (so far) but it’s about being inclusive and there’s nothing wrong with that.

    • @michele
But people like you won’t mention about “fair representation” stuff when older survivor seasons didn’t have a single poc. Your eyes probably hurt seeing more than 1 brown person in the cast, isn’t it ?

  18. why are we getting 3 tribes of 6 AGAIN? Don’t they see it’s s big bore??? we want an epic battle between 2 tribes like in Heroes Vs Villains

  19. How is Genevieve possibly 29? Her Linkedin indicates that she started her law degree in 2013, which means she had to have been 22/23 by then. That puts her birth year at 1990/91. The math isn’t mathing 🙁

    • So her Linkin says she 33. And her Boi say 29. And you just wondering what one has the right info. Her social media would probably tell you

  20. Not trying to be controversial or divisive but does anyone know if Gabe Ortis identifies as Black/African American, Hispanic, or Afro Latino? Or how Teeny & Annika Dhar identify? As regards to Survivors Diversity Initiative metrics/demographics. Also wonder if Maria & Venus from Season 46 were considered as BIPOC or White. Since according to the US Census for demographic purposes people of Middle Eastern+North African descent/heritage/ancestry are classified as “White”/Caucasian. Although some Census respondents will mark the box for Some Other Race. And in the future 2030 US Census it’s very possible for people of both Hispanic/Latino & individuals from the MENA (Middle Eastern & North African) communities to have there own separate “Racial” categories on the forms.

  21. I’m not sure what Gabe identifies as, he gave me a Portuguese vibe tbh. Anika is definitely Indian and Teeny would technically be white bc she’s Italian.

  22. I think Sue fills that archetype. Typically there’s only one woman over 40 in the new era, at least 44-46 (Heidi, Julie, and Maria). Side note I never realized how well that archetype has done recently.

  23. Only 3 people over the age of 34 and 8 people in the their 20s. Though some on the cusp of 30. I wish they would cast 4 players 18-29, 4 from 30-35, 4 from age 38 and up, and the last two any which way. Also, not sure about this cast so far. I’m a bit underwhelmed. We will have to see how they fair when we see them in action.

  24. Why hasn’t the last “rumored” contestant been listed? Someone on here said they knew who it is but that doesn’t mean anything, anybody could say that.

  25. Now that we know the tribe names and who’s on each tribe, I hope you’ll be posting your excellent tribe division pictures. I always print them out and use as guides during the season.
