Shaw is a survivor superfan. Since 2020, he has run the "NMB Survivor Challenges" organization in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. A Christian organization that provides a summer camp for kids, based off the show, Survivor. In addition, he runs a Youtube LRG series that has featured Survivor alumni.
