Julia Sokolowski is a 19-year-old full-time student at Boston University studying for a degree in Communication with Specialisation in Public Relations. Originally from Burlington, Vermont, Sokolowski currently lives in Boston, MA and is a high academic achiever, receiving honors from the National Society for High School Scholars and the National Business Honour Society. She is a committed student who also works as an Admissions Ambassador and Account Executive at Boston University, and has spent time abroad volunteering in Tanzania where she learned Swahili and taught English to a class of 83 third graders. She is passionate about many causes including arts and culture, children, education and human rights.
At the time of filming Julia Sokolowski was 18 years old, making her the youngest woman to ever play Survivor, previously this honor was held by Survivor: Redemption Island’s Natalie Tenerelli who was 19 when she competed on the show. There is only one other contestant that was 18 when they played the game, and that is Spencer Duhm from Survivor: Tocantins. Sokolowski will be a part of the Beauty tribe on Survivor Kaôh Rōng – Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty 2.
