  1. How in the heck are they planning on swapping the tribes when there are 13 players remaining? This is about the time that they merged last time, any chance Probst is pulling some joke and when reveal the buffs they are all the same color?

    • I’m actually hoping it’s an early merge and not a swap, but unlikely…it’s likely two more pre-jury boots, with an 11 person merge. Last season was an exception being returnees (and remember this was filmed before S31.)

Martin, this is also a major tease that tells us nothing about swapped tribes 😛 Hoping my remaining favs land in good company.

    • I remember a time in the past where there was someone sitting out for a reward challenge. Before the challenge they had to pick the team they thought would win, and then they would share that tribes fate.

Maybe in this instance, if the odd man (woman) picks the winning tribe, they get to join that tribe. If the tribe they pick loses, then the odd person out is immediately booted from the game.

  2. They should have skipped tribal and absorbed the losing tribe (Brawn) into the other 2 instead. Or, just had no swap. swap and merge at 13 are both stupid

  3. In Survivor Fiji they started out with 19 players, and so when divided up the players they ended up with an unpicked player who then went to tribal council and then joined the losing tribe after the first tribal council. Replacing the first player voted out. They also repeated this method in the same season, during the swap when Lisi on the Moto tribe was unpicked on either side.

Although in the Kâoh Rōng Episode 5, press photos it shows them taking new buffs. I don’t think it entirely rules out the possibility that the uneven or remainder survivor would be sent to Exile….however I doubt it.
