Survivor: Kaôh Rōng Episode 3 Stats and Figures

  • 2 people named Liz have competed on Survivor, and both were voted out premerge.
    • Liz Kim in Survivor: Samoa.
    • Liz Markham in Survivor: Kaôh Rōng.

Tribal Council

  • This is the 2nd tie vote this season.
  • Just like in Survivor: Cagayan, the third episode had a 2-2-2 vote in order to try and flush an idol, with a 3-0 tiebreaker vote.

  • In both BvBvB seasons, the same tribe lost the first two challenges, and a different tribe lost the third one.
    • In Survivor: Cagayan, Brains lost the first two, with Beauty losing the third.
    • In Survivor: Kaôh Rōng, Brawn lost the first two, with Brains losing the third.

  • The first part of the challenge hasn’t been used before.
  • The second part of the challenge was used previously in Survivor: Worlds Apart.
    • Both seasons had a red, yellow, and blue tribe competing.
      • In both seasons, the red and yellow tribe won, while the blue tribe lost.
    • The second part of the challenge is also very similar to a challenge that Caleb famously sat out of on Big Brother 16 during a Battle of the Block competition, in order to get Frankie evicted. (It didn’t work, as Frankie won the challenge on his own)
  • The 3rd challenge in Survivor: Cagayan was a similar “get a ball in the holes” maze, but it was a different setup.

Hidden Immunity Idols

  • This is the first time that 2 hidden immunity idols have been found in one episode.
    • 2 idols were found in the Survivor: Cagayan premiere, but one was found in the first episode, and another was found in the second episode. (The Cagayan premiere was 2 hours long)

  • Episode 3 received 9.24 million viewers and 2.2/8 in the Adults 18-49 Rating/Share. That is a season high for Survivor: Kaôh Rōng, however, it should be noted there was no episode of American Idol this week.

  • The title of the episode “Circle of Life” was said by Tai Trang.

Rob is 30 years old from Boston, MA. He studied Architectural Engineering at college and has been following Survivor since the first season. He is married and has a dog named Snoopy. He also hosts Survivor ORGs (Online Reality Games) on Facebook.

  • Name

Really like the information from these articles! I think it’s a cool tidbit that in both BvBvB seasons, two of the first three people voted out were 27 years old. (Darnell and Liz, and Garrett and Brice.)

    • Jono

also the tribe that came first in the first immunity lost the third immunity

  • José Zepeda

THEY ARE LIFE! I love them<333

  • BJ

Another fun fact: all three Survivor Peters have received at least 2 votes at their first tribal council.
