Rob Brodeur breaks down all the stats from Episode 7 of Survivor: HHH.

Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor related statistics and information based off the latest episode of Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.

Tribal Council

  • Jessica was voted out 7-5.
    • Every Hero and Hustler voted for Jessica, while only Healers voted for Chrissy.
  • Desi is the only female who voted for Chrissy that is still in the game.
    • Roark voted for Chrissy in Episode 5, and was voted out in Episode 5.
    • Ali voted for Chrissy in Episode 5, and was voted out in Episode 6.
    • Jessica voted for Chrissy this episode and was voted out.
  • Desi is the only remaining female Healer.
    • She is also the only female remaining without any votes against her.
  • Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers is now tied with Kaoh Rong for the most people voted out at the first tribal council they attended, with four.
    • Darnell, Liz, Anna, & Nick in Kaoh Rong
    • Katrina, Simone, Roark, & Jessica in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers
  • This is the third season in a row where the first merge boot was a female.
    • Michelle in Millennials vs. Gen X
    • Hali in Game Changers
    • Jessica in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers
      • Blood vs. Water is the last season where a male (Aras) was the person voted out in the merge episode as Neal was medically evacuated in Kaoh Rong.
        • Sarah was the merge boot in Cagayan
        • Julie quit in San Juan Del Sur
        • Kelly was the merge boot in Worlds Apart
        • Kass was the merge boot in Cambodia
  • Ryan has attended the most tribal councils this season with five, and so far has a perfect voting record.
  • This is the first time Cole, Jessica, and Mike have attended tribal council this season, and none of them voted for the person who was voted out.
  • Jessica was the 14th person to be the first person out at the merge, but not be on the jury. (She’s the 15th if you count Neal Gottlieb, who was on the jury, but voted off the jury by Michele Fitzgerald) The others are as follows:

Merge

  • This is only the second season where three tribes have merged together, the other being Millennials vs. Gen X.
    • This is the first time a three starting tribe season merged from three tribes.
  • Ben, Desi, Devon, and Ryan were the only people going into the merge that had attended tribal council, but didn’t receive any votes against them at those tribal councils.
  • Solewa is the third purple merged tribe. The others are Bula Bula in Fiji, and Kasama in Blood vs. Water.
    • It is the 11th purple tribe in Survivor. The others are as follows:
      • Sook Jai in Thailand
      • Casaya in Panama
      • Bula Bula in Fiji
      • Malakal in Micronesia
      • Galu in Samoa
      • Zapatera in Redemption Island
      • Bikal in Caramoan
      • Kasama in Blood vs. Water
      • Solana in Cagayan
      • Takali in Millennials vs. Gen X
  • Solewa is the eigth tribe to be named as a combination of the starting tribes. (Soko + Levu + Yawa) The others are as follows:
    • Chuay Jai in Thailand (Chuay Gahn + Sook Jai)
    • Chabogamogo in All-Stars (Chapera + Saboga + Mogo Mogo)
    • Xhakum in Guatemala (Yaxha + Nakum)
    • Aitutonga in Cook Islands (Aitutaki + Rarotonga)
    • Solarrion in Cagayan (Solana + Aparri + Luzon)
    • Huyopa in San Juan Del Sur (Hunahpu + Coyopa)
    • Maku Maku in Game Changers (Mana + Nuku)
  • The male Healers are the only fully intact gender/tribe combination that made the merge, as at least one male/female from each starting tribe has been voted out.
  • Joe was the only Healer going into the merge with votes against him.
    • However, he negated those votes with an idol.
  • Joe and JP are the only men going into the merge with votes against them.
  • Cole Jessica, and Mike are the first people to win every challenge premerge.
    • They are tied with Randy Bailey in Gabon for most challenge wins in a row, with 10.
  • Cole, Jessica, and Mike made it to the merge without attending tribal council. Others to achieve this feat are as follows:
    • The Tandang tribe (RC, Skupin, Lisa, Artis, Pete, Abi) in Philippines
    • Joe & Keith in Cambodia
    • Michele & Nick in Kaoh Rong
    • Cirie in Game Changers
      • In Philippines, Kaoh Rong, and Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, RC, Nick, and Jessica, respectively, were voted out at the first tribal council they attended.

Hidden Immunity Idol

  • Joe used his hidden immunity idol but didn’t receive any votes.
    • He’s the 18th person to use an idol but not receive votes.
  • Joe has played an idol at every tribal council he’s attended so far this season.
  • Mike is the only person left with a hidden immunity idol.

Confessionals

  • Ben had the most confessionals this episode with 7.
    • He’s tied with Jessica’s confessional count from Episode 4 for most confessionals in a single episode.
  • Desi and JP had 0 confessionals this episode.
    • This is JP’s fourth episode where he didn’t get a confessional.
      • He’s had the least amount of confessionals thus far with only 4.
      • Ryan has 7x the amount of confessionals that JP has had this entire season.

Immunity Challenge – “Will It Go Round”

  • Desi is the first African-American castaway to win the first individual immunity challenge in a season.
  • This challenge has been previously seen in both seasons of Australian Survivor, but has never before been used in an American season of Survivor.

Ratings

Episode Title

  • The episode title “Get to Gettin” was said by Ben Driebergen to Jeff before he announced the merge.
