Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor related statistics and information based off the latest episode of Survivor: Edge of Extinction.

Tribal Council #1

  • David was voted out 8-2.
    • David was the first returning player from Manu to be voted out this season.
      • He’s also the first Manu/Lesu member to be voted out post-merge.
    • This was the first tribal this season where a Kama member didn’t get votes since episode 6.
    • This was the first post-merge vote where Kelley didn’t get any votes against her.
  • Both the oldest male (David) and oldest female (Reem) on the original Manu tribe have been voted out.
  • Both David and Aubry have never been voted out at the end of an episode.
    • Aubry made it to final tribal council in Kaoh Rong, she was voted out during the finale of Game Changers, and she was voted out during the first half of the two-part episode in Edge of Extinction.
    • David was voted out during the finale of Millennials vs. Gen X, and was voted out during the first tribal council in episode 10 of Edge of Extinction.

Tribal Council #2

  • Kelley was voted out 5-4.
    • Kelley was the last returning player to be voted out this season.
  • Kelley has the most votes against her this season with 14.
  • Everyone that’s won individual immunity so far this season has correctly voted for the person that went home in the episode they won immunity.
    • Julie won immunity and voted out Joe in episode 7.
    • Aurora won immunity and voted out Eric in episode 8.
    • Gavin won immunity and voted out Julia in episode 9.
    • Aurora won immunity and voted out David in episode 10a.
    • Rick won immunity and voted out Kelley in episode 10b.
  • Aurora is the first Kama member to receive votes against her and not be voted out in the same episode.
  • Gavin, Julie, Ron, and Victoria are the only players to not receive votes against them so far this season.
    • They are all original Kama members.
  • Ron, Victoria, Aurora, and Wardog are the only players to vote correctly at both tribal councils in this episode.
  • Kelley has received votes at 7/10 of the tribal councils she’s attended this season.
  • This was the first time Wardog didn’t vote with Kelley & Lauren this season.
  • This was also the first time that Gavin and Victoria didn’t vote together this season.
  • Lauren and Wardog are the only original Manu players to not be voted out so far this season.
  • Victoria is the only player to vote out all four returning players this season.
    • Aubry in episode 5.
    • Joe in episode 7.
    • David & Kelley in episode 10.
  • Victoria is the only player to have a perfect voting record post-merge.
  • Wardog was the last original Manu/Lesu member to not have any votes cast against him so far.
  • This was the first time Kelley was voted out with more than three votes at a tribal council.
    • She was voted out by Baylor, Jaclyn, and Missy in San Juan Del Sur
    • She was voted out by Jeremy, Spencer, and Tasha in Cambodia.
  • This was the first time Kelley was voted out while not on an orange tribe.
    • She was voted out of Coyopa in San Juan Del Sur.
    • She was voted out of Orkun in Cambodia.
  • Both players voted out this episode were returning players from original Manu, and they were the first Manu/Lesu players voted out post-merge.
  • Wardog is the first male player Rick has voted for post-merge, while Kelley is the first female Aurora has voted for post-merge.
  • This is the first season with returning players where all reutrning players were voted out before the final tribal council.

Hidden Immunity Idol

  • Kelley is the third female to be voted out with a hidden immunity idol. The first was Andrea in Caramoan and the second was Aubry earlier this season.
  • Kelley is the 14th player voted out while in possession of a hidden immunity idol. The others are as follows:
    • James Clement in China
    • Ozzy Lusth & Jason Siska in Micronesia
    • Brendan Synott in Tocantins
    • Erik Cardona in Samoa
    • Andrea Boehlke in Caramoan
    • Garrett Adelstein in Cagayan
    • John Rocker & Jon Misch in San Juan Del Sur
    • Scot Pollard in Kaoh Rong
    • JT Thomas in Game Changers
    • Chris Noble in Ghost Island
    • Aubry Bracco in Edge of Extinction
      • All three seasons where two players were voted out with hidden immunity idols, the players were of the same gender.
        • Ozzy Lusth & Jason Siska in Micronesia
        • John Rocker & Jon Misch in San Juan Del Sur
        • Kelley Wentworth & Aubry Bracco in Edge of Extinction
  • With Kelley being voted out, Lauren is the only player left in the game with a hidden immunity idol.

Confessionals

  • Kelley has the most confessionals so far this season with 28.
    • Rick and David have the second most confessionals with 27 each.
    • Rick has the most confessionals for a player still remaining in the game.
    • Wardog has the most confessionals (25) for a player who hasn’t been voted out.
  • Wardog had the most confessionals this episode with 7.
  • Julia, Joe, Aubry, Reem, and Lauren had the least amount of confessionals this episode with 0.
    • Lauren is the only player still in the game to get 0 confessionals this episode.
    • Eric, Chris, and David are the only players on the Edge of Extinction to have confessionals this episode.
  • As of episode 10, there have been 300 total confessionals this season.

Edge of Extinction

  • The first part of the episode was the first time (other than episode 1) where there was no footage of players on the Edge of Extinction shown at any point before tribal council.
  • Joe and Julia are the only players on Edge of Extinction to never be a member of the Manu tribe.
  • Joe is the only returning player (as of David’s vote out) to not find an advantage while on the Edge of Extinction.
  • Aubry Bracco is the eighth returning player to make it to 100 days on Survivor. The others are as follows:
    • Amanda Kimmel, Parvati Shallow, and Rupert Boneham in Heroes vs. Villains
    • Rob Mariano in Redemption Island
    • Ozzy Lusth in South Pacific
    • Cirie Fields and Andrea Boehlke in Game Changers

Immunity Challenge #1 – “Squatty Probst”

  • This challenge has been played before in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
    • Both times it was won by a female.
      • Lauren Rimmer in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
      • Aurora McCreary in Edge of Extinction.
    • Both times, the second place finisher was a male voted out at  tribal council that night.
      • Cole Medders in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers
      • David Wright in Edge of Extinction.
    • Both times this challenge was played, it was done with 10 people remaining in the game.
  • Aurora is the first player this season to win individual immunity more than once.
    • She’s been immune during 8 out of 11 of the tribal councils this season.
  • Lauren, Kelley, Ron, and Victoria sat out of the challenge in order to eat pizza.
    • These four are made up of two original Manu members and two original Kama members.

Immunity Challenge #2 – “Paddle Out”

 

  • Similar versions of this challenge have been played in Philippines, Cagayan, San Juan Del Sur, Millennials vs. Gen X, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, and David vs. Goliath

 

  • Rick is the first Manu/Lesu member to win individual immunity this season.

Episode Title

  • The episode title “Blood of a Blindside” was said by Ron at the second Tribal Council of the episode.
