Survivor: Game Changers

Power Rankings Round 9

Michelle Schubert takes on Inside Survivor in power rankings for Survivor: Game Changers Episode 11.

While the castaways of Survivor: Game Changers fight it out on the islands of Fiji for the million dollar prize, another battle is taking place here on Inside Survivor. Former Survivor player and “Mother of Dragons” Michelle Schubert takes on Inside Survivor’s Martin “Redmond” Holmes to determine the Inside Survivor Power Rankings champion.

Previously on Power Rankings…

In Round 8, Michelle received 9 points for ranking Debbie in 9th place and Martin received 4 points. That means the overall scores are Martin at 133 points and Michelle at 129 points. Can Michelle continue to close the gap in this week’s rankings?

The Rules

We use the Gordon Holmes format of Power Rankings. Each week the two power rankers create separate rankings based on least likely to most likely to be eliminated. The ranking of the player who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the rankers will earn. For example, if Michaela is voted out in Episode 11, Martin would receive 6 points and Michelle would receive 5 points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the Survivor: Game Changers Power Rankings Champion.

Troyzan
We haven't heard from him in a while but we know he's well liked among his alliance, he doesn't seem to be on anyone's radar as a target/threat, he seems clear of any drama, and of course, he still has an idol. At this point, he seems the safest.
1
Tai
I'm sticking with the plan of keeping the idol holders at the top, and Tai has two of them. Not only does Tai have idol protection, but nobody seems to perceive him as a big threat right now.
2
Tai
Tai still has those two idols and what's better is that, like Troyzan, none of the crossfire between alliances seems to be aimed at him.
2
Troyzan
Similar to Tai, Troyzan has an idol and an edit that implies nobody views him as a threat. With all the talk of "let's make a big move" in the previews, I can't see that "big move" being Troy.
3
Sarah
Editing is showing her playing a really smart strategic game, and I don't think it's going to stop at last week's move. She has so many options right now on how to move the game forward. Is she going to settle into a new voting block? Or will she "Rob Cesternino" her way back forth for the next few votes? Either way, I don't see her going home soon.
3
Sarah
It could be a risk ranking Sarah so high after she put herself into the spotlight last week, but her edit seems to suggest longevity. I think she'll find herself in the middle once again and be a deciding factor in who goes home.
4
Brad
I'm hesitant to put him this high because in my mind he's been playing an excellent game; leading an alliance, patching things up with Debbie, pulling in Troyzan, giving up the merge feast, etc. If I were in the game, he'd be public enemy #1, but we simply haven't seen him getting mixed up in the drama enough to warrant a vote out quite yet. The personal feuds seem to be taking center stage at his point.
4
Brad
Brad has been given depth to his edit and protection from the arrogance of his alliance mates. That doesn't suggest an upcoming blindside to me, instead, I could see him becoming an underdog now.
5
Michaela
All of a sudden Michaela's neck is off the chopping block. All it took was a bit of personal feud between Zeke and Andrea and then some Debbie being Debbie. I THINK that all of a sudden the heat is dispersed elsewhere which buys my girl Michaela some more time. I hope she uses it well!
5
Aubry
I'm keeping Aubry in the middle of the pack because I'm still struggling to pinpoint her game and closest allies. She doesn't seem to be on anyone's radar, but I could see her perhaps being the victim of an idol or tribal craziness.
6
Sierra
I don't want to think that she goes this soon. I don't THINK she will. However, she was shown gloating quite a bit this last episode and shown to be blindsided with the Debbie vote. I do think she's smart enough to weave some new threads as the game continues though.
6
Michaela
I'm still waiting for Michaela to go on an impressive immunity winning streak, but until that happens her name is always in the mix of targets.
7
Aubry
Again, Aubry is my wild card. I have no idea about her status in the game, so I put her right here and cross my fingers.
7
Sierra
I really don't believe Sarah will stick with Cirie's side for very long, but let's just imagine a world where that happens, and in that world, Sierra becomes the next target of Cirie and co. They keep talking about Sierra as "the one running the show," so I think she'd go first of her alliance.
8
Cirie
This is interesting to me... did anyone else notice that the move last week was more of Cirie's doing than Sarah's? Yet, Sarah seemed to get most of the editing cred. It appeared that Cirie was the one that planted the whole idea in Sarah's mind while they were on the hammock. This implies to me that Cirie will not go as far as Sarah in this game, so it made more sense to show the strategic side of Sarah rather than Cirie. I could be wrong, but we'll see.
8
Cirie
Cirie is still the biggest threat in the game in my eyes, and if these people were smart, they'd get rid of her while they have the chance (although I hope they don't). I think Andrea will be the primary target this week, but if she wins immunity, then Cirie will be next in line.
9
Andrea
I think this week's episode is going to come down to either Andrea or Zeke. My guess is that Andrea will come out on top this week which will further make her a target for the following week. I think her life expectancy in this game is short whether or not she goes home this week.
9
Zeke
I'm sticking with the theory that Zeke and Andrea are going to come after each other. There is clearly very little trust there, and it's only a matter of time before one of them strikes. I'm rooting for Andrea, but I feel that Zeke will come out on top due to Sarah trusting him more.
10
Zeke
Zeke and Andrea are both holding a grudge against each other and seem to have decided to make personal decisions rather than strategic ones at this point. I'm worried this will keep them from working together further in this game and will be the downfall of each.
10
Andrea
I keep putting Andrea at the bottom, and she keeps proving me wrong. I hope she continues to make me look a fool, but I sense her time is coming to an end sooner than later. I think she'll go after Zeke, but it will backfire, likely due to Sarah.
