Sharn
I think out of everyone this chick has gotten a winner's edit. I feel we have been on the pulse of everything Sharn has been doing the whole game, she has had consistent game visibility which makes me hopeful that my wish will come true and she will face that final tribal. And if she does, oh boy, good luck to anyone sitting next to her. I also think that she is in a likely position to gain immunity this week and should she make it to a final 3 endurance challenge, Sharn is the best bet to take it out against any of the remaining players. This means that Sharn will have the pick of who she goes up against in final tribal which will inform my no.2 spot. How deliciously satisfying it would be for this true Survivor to take out the title. CARN SHARN!!!!

Shane
Shane sat on the bottom of my ladder for half of the game and my only excuse was because she was old, hahaha! She survived till merge and has flown under the radar since. Sharn is a bigger scalp and Brian has eyes on her… It seems like after everyone does a big move they then get eliminated. I don’t think this will be any different. Shane has been a gold medallist, and if she was able to take out the title of Sole Survivor, it would be amazing. Imagine her family thinking she was going to be first boot then finding out she wins the bloody thing hahaha!
1
Sharn
I’ve been Survivor crushing on Sharn ever since she had her Sharndalf moment by the fire pre-merge. She’s played smart and scrappy; she’s bounced back from the hard hits she’s taken and she’s monopolised on the lucky turns she’s been thrown. All you can ask of a player in this game. The season’s winner frames the narrative of the game as we remember it - after all the meatheadery of the pregame, to see a strong, smart, confident woman take this out could only elevate the legacy that this season will leave for (fingers crossed!!) the many AU seasons to come.
2
Brian
Now I know this looks to be a super unlikely outcome, but I figure... if I’m to have a chance to take these rankings out from behind, I need to sway from the obvious answers and risk it for the biscuit! The reason I see Brian as a potential top two is that, if I were out there, I’d feel very safe going up against him in any torturous holding-on challenge. Namely because he is a giant with a lot of body weight, his hands and feet are massive, and I just imagine I would last longer if I were Shon or Sharn. Also, the guy is obviously disliked by the Jury, we have seen evidence of this in the edit... foreshadowing maybe? Might be a safer bet to take Grubby to the end as opposed to any of the super-likable shhh-squad.

Brian
Has won immunitys, is the last man standing, played a good game in terms of getting his way to the end. His physical strength will guarantee his spot in the final, although there is one big, big thing that he’s forgetting. We will have ourselves a bitter jury because I don’t think they will forget quite quickly that the biggest male on the show forgot to help around camp. That he doesn’t know how to make fire. He had no loyalty to the Champions tribe. He wanted to get rid of all the men so he had a better chance at winning immunity. Smelled hahahah! Played his idol wrong. Backstabbed Fenella who is super close to Shonee. And wants to sit next to weak players at the end. Is that enough to say you aren’t winning? hahahhaha!
2
Shane
To set the scene, please read this with sweeping orchestral hero music in the background. The 61-year-old legend (which, PS, is not actually even old, and that’s not just because “old” is literally my specialty - how old was Rudy when he played?!), the darling of the Australian swim scene, our national treasure, has struggled against the odds for 55 days. She’ll have the respect of the jury, and honestly, as much as she’s bumbled along, she has earned it. Her emerging love for the game, and her growth into a player that recognises it for the game that it is makes her an admirable winner prospect. Don’t. F**k. With. Shane. Gould.

Shane
How good is Gouldy! A true testament to the fact that age ain’t no thang. Gouldy has proven herself to be a commendable player in this game and I’ve loved watching her. If I were on the island though, I’d definitely be intimidated by her case to win purely based on how epic it is that she’s a top 2 spot at age 61. The woman has hustled and bustled her way through this game heading up some of those blindside do-hickies, smashing it in challenges and looking for (successfully?) those pesky idols. I swapped my 3&4 spots last minute because I can’t decide!!! This will be such an epic Survivor wrap up I can’t wait to see how it unfolds even if I do get early onset arthritis from my fingers and toes being in knots for the next 3 days.
3
Shonee
The last of the Contenders. I feel she just won’t win because she won’t be able to pool enough votes. She would have a guaranteed 3 but due to the Contender’s sh**y start to the season, she won’t pull what’s needed. Unless she sits next to GRUB that is hahahah! From here she should vote with Grub. I understand she wants revenge, but going to the end with Sharn would be a mistake. Is it a Final 3 or 2? This could determine if she wins or not. If a Contender won it would be a miracle… lucky I believe in miracles hahahha!
3
Brian
King Grub, lord of the sloths, ambassador for awareness of urinary frequency... he’s all of these things, but Australian Survivor 2018?? He would probably need to win out to get there - immunity or fire at 4, then immunity at 3. It’s possible, but then there’s still the jury to contend with, and I reckon that would be tougher for Brian than 8 hours up a splintery wooden pole.
4
Shonee
Shonee is another one who has had consistent visibility in this game. A sole-surviving Contender with an excellent game played, someone I wouldn’t be going up against in final 2 any time soon. I would love to see this girl in a final 2 spot but I just think she’s too threatening, and I’m not putting my money on the fact that she will go on an immunity run to secure herself in that final position. Though I’m torn between swapping my 3&4 spot, for some reason my gut tells me to put Shon at four... gut don’t fail me now! Side note if Luke Toki ends up taking this thing out imma lose it.
4
Sharn
Sharn is very deserving winner. Had ups and downs during the whole show. That’s what I like. She's taken risks and is not socially abrasive. Made little moves and big ones. Been proactive, to say the least. Explains her moves in confessionals which shows direction. She has a lot of friends on the jury, so there is a good chance she could win this, but the only thing is if Grubby has a say, you will be getting eliminated next. I think it’s going to be a showdown for immunity between Grub and Sharn, and if Sharn wins, then she wins the game, but if she loses, she’s out. I’ve flipped a coin and gone with Grub.
4
Shonee
What an end game this girl has had! She’s the self-professed badass b***h who gets what she wants, and I am there for that! (Not as much as I am here for winning the power rankings though, so I can’t back her for first place...) Sharn/Brian are favourites for immunity at final four, which means Shonee would at best go to fire (and we’ve had some insight on how that might go), or if Brian loses and goes at 4, then she’s up against Shane/Sharn at final 3 and essentially needs to win out. So for Shon to get to the end she needs for Brian to lose at 4, and then for her to win at 3 - I’ll be backing her, but only half-heartedly because a Shonee win would suck for my rankings!
