Inside Survivor’s choice for Player of the Week for Survivor: Cambodia – Second Chance Episode 9 is…

stephenshiftStephen Fishbach

Here is what the Inside Survivor contributors had to say about Stephen Fishbach after Episode 9:

Martin: I’m not sure if voting out Kelly Wiglesworth was as big of a move as Stephen, or the episode itself would have us believe, but the fact is, Stephen did what he said he was going to do last week, and that is put himself in the driver’s seat. Not only did his risky move to go for the advantage at the immunity challenge pay off, but he orchestrated the blindside of Wiglesworth whom he saw as Joe’s right-hand woman. He deserves credit not only for flipping but for convincing Jeremy and Spencer to flip with him.

Jacob: With Wiglesworth’s elimination, Fishbach has become a pivotal strategic player. He chose a target; he gathered allies to vote with him, and he eliminated said target. If he can avoid being targeted, Stephen is in a great position, especially with that awesome vote-stealer that he won at the immunity challenge.

Shawn: Fishbach is truly embracing the nature of this second chance season. Using voting blocs as a way to influence the thinking of Spencer and Jeremy, he successfully championed the Wiglesworth blindside. Fishbach wants to build an end-game résumé and is doing just that.

Rob: Stephen finally made a big move this week, as he’s been telling us he’s wanted to do for a while now. Granted, it wasn’t Moby Joe as he would have liked, but it was Joe’s biggest ally and friend (or so we’re told), Kelly Wiglesworth. Add that to Stephen risking his safety in the game for an awesome advantage, and it gives you a great formula for the player of the week!
