Inside Survivor’s choice for Player of the Week for Survivor: Cambodia – Second Chance Episode 6 is…

cierascheme2Ciera Eastin

Here is what the Inside Survivor contributors had to say about Ciera Eastin after Episode 6:

Martin: Ciera is the type of player that comes alive when she feels threatened or that her back is against the wall. She certainly came alive this week when her name was put out there as the “decoy boot”. Having your name brought up as a potential boot, even if it is a decoy, is very risky on Survivor. Ciera made sure that her name wasn’t written down at all and managed to set in motion the Woo vote-off. Yes, the episode played up Kass as a potential deciding vote, and focused in on her relationship with Spencer, but it was Ciera that used her expert social skills to change the target – up until then Kass was happy to go along with Savage’s plan.

Shawn: While Ciera has been flying mostly under the radar, she wasn’t afraid to make big moves when her name was brought up. Her willingness to turn the tables on the old Bayon members will have massive implications, but at least she will be there to see it. The best part about the Woo blindside? Ciera will most likely fall under the radar once again as Kass and Abi will take the most flack for the move.

Jacob: I was hoping Ciera would start becoming more prominent this week, and she did not disappoint. I’m still a little confused about why she turned around the vote on Woo instead of Savage, but I’m glad to see her working her strong social abilities. [It turns out that Abi-Maria was the reason Ciera targeted Woo rather than Savage]

Rob: The same Ciera that I loved in Blood vs. Water showed up this episode! She’s been seriously underutilized so far, due to her sitting out of challenges, and being relatively invisible. It’s very similar to her beginning on Blood vs. Water. Ciera lays low and stays under the radar until she feels threatened, then she will come for you, your dog, your mom, her mom, whoever, in order to save herself. She really shined this week and managed to take the wind right out of Savage’s sails (I loved to see him blindsided along with Woo). She definitely deserves the Player Of the Week, and I look forward to seeing more of feisty Ciera in the coming weeks.

  1. I strongly disagree. She made a petty move. She’s too cocky and conceited to have foresight in this game and that’s one of the most important things in strategy, for that reason i think she has the lowest chance of winning. She’ll only make it deep if its handed to her, and then she won’t win a jury over.
