Each week on Inside Survivor we will be naming one castaway from the current season the title of Player of the Week. After reviewing the latest episode, we will determine which player impressed us the most with their social skills, strategic prowess, craftiness, and creativity. We will keep a tally throughout the season so that we can keep track of who is impressing the most.

Tally

Week 2: Jeff Varner (Inside Survivor pick) | Jeff Varner (Readers pick – 52.69%)

The Player of the Week for Survivor: Cambodia – Second Chance Episode 3 is…

tashplayerTasha Fox

Here is what the Inside Survivor contributors had to say about Tasha Fox after Episode 3:

Martin: Tasha went from the love-fest tribe to the nightmare tribe, but she somehow scratched and clawed her way out from the underdog position. While Savage played his part too, Tasha’s rugged determination to improve her spot in the new Angkor tribe deserves special recognition. She exposed cracks, made new deals, and nurtured a relationship with wildcard Abi-Maria that gave her and Savage the advantage.

Jacob: I don’t think even Savage was aware of how hard Tasha was ready to play at the tribe swap. It must feel good to have her by your side because Miss Fierce goes hard!

Shawn: While I’m not sold on Tasha’s social game, her strategic game has been great thus far. Entering Angkor down in numbers, she was quick to have conversations with members of the old Ta Keo. Those conversations quickly materialized into paranoia, moving her and Savage into a power position. Not only did she remain safe at tribal, she seemingly put herself in a good position. Now, it’s all about picking up the right pieces of the fractured Ta Keo that are Varner, Abi, and Woo.

Rob: Tasha Fierce has finally shown up in Cambodia! She’s been pretty quiet for most of the season so far. All it took was a tribe swap, in which she ended up on the minority, to get her game kicked into high gear! By all accounts, Tasha or Savage should have gone home this week, but Tasha managed to call out Varner after the immunity challenge when he was not-so-discreetly trying to communicate with Wigles. She also exploited the crack between Abi and Peih-Gee, and before we knew it, she and Savage were making all the decisions at Angkor. I look forward to seeing what she can pull off in the upcoming weeks!

    • You can vote for Jeremy in the poll.

I thought he was good this week but we didn’t get enough of Bayon to get a deeper look at his game. Whereas we spent a lot of time on Angkor, and therefore got to see more of how Tasha worked her way from the bottom to the top.

EDIT: Sorry, I realise what you meant now. I’ve added Jeremy to the poll. My bad.
