Bio: James is a 24-year-old Management Consultant who was born in Los Angeles but grew up in Seoul, South Korea, before returning to the U.S. to attend high school. He graduated cum laude from the Phillips Academy prep-school in 2012, where he received multiple academic honors, including the Van Duzer Prize, National AP Scholar Award, and U.S. Presidential Scholar Award. James was also a Varsity track and field athlete, a pursuit he continued at Harvard University, where he studied Economics, becoming an accomplished sprinter and team captain.
While at college, James served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, wrote for The Crimson, the daily student newspaper of Harvard University, and spent three months in Shanghai, China as part of a Summer Internship Program. He also interned for four months at the White House, under then-President Barack Obama – part of his job involved drafting memos for the President and Vice President and delivering briefings to the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers. After graduating in 2016, James moved to New York City and took a job as an associate at a global management consulting firm. He enjoys traveling, music, and weightlifting.
