The name Jacob Derwin may be familiar to frequent readers of Inside Survivor, as Jacob was one of our regular writers, providing his thoughts and predictions each season in his Next Time On… Survivor feature. When he’s not broadcasting, voice-acting, or writing about Survivor, Jacob often teaches music at summer camps or in synagogues across the east coast of the U.S., a talent that led to his current job in New York. He is also a songwriter and musician in his own right, recently releasing the Mira EP, which is available on all streaming platforms. A music nerd, Survivor superfan, and former Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade clown (four times!), Jacob becomes the first Inside Survivor writer to make it on the show!
